Police Say Immigrant Tried to Rape Sleeping Teen

Police say immigrant Juan Manuel Cruz-Gallardo, who had been deported at least once before, attempted to rape a sleeping 18-year-old Northern Illinois University student. She woke and managed to fight him off. Gallardo was found an hour later hiding in the house’s laundry room.
