Lemaricus Davidson , a suspect in the rape and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, was in court on previous, unrelated charges on Thursday.
Channon Christian and her boyfriend Christopher Newsom were on a date when they were carjacked and kidnapped. Her boyfriend was murdered soon after the carjacking. Christian was kept alive longer and was repeatedly raped before being murdered and thrown in the garbage.
