Three Suspects in Court in Channon Christian Rape/Murder Case

Three suspects in the rape and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom were in court on Tuesday. Lemaricus Davidson and Letalvis Cobbins are each charged with 16 counts of murder and 20 counts of rape. George Thomas’s arraignment was postponed.

Channon Christian and her boyfriend Christopher Newsom were on a date when they were carjacked and kidnapped. Christopher was murdered and his body burned soon after the carjacking. Christian was kept alive longer and was repeatedly raped before being murdered and thrown in the garbage.

Immigrant Burned Family for Being Too Western

Concerned that his family was becoming too Western, Pakastani immigrant Mohammed Riaz bolted the doors of his home shut, poured gasoline around the house and set it on fire, killing his four daughters and his wife. Mohammed Riaz died two days later.
