Channon Christian Rape Suspects in Court Today

Four of the Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom rape and murder suspects are expected to appear in court today. A trial date could be set.

Update: The suspects will be tried separately beginning in May of 2008. The state has not yet decided to seek the death penalty.

Background:

In January, Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian were on a date when they were carjacked and kidnapped. Christopher was murdered and his body burned soon after the carjacking. Christian was kept alive longer and was repeatedly raped. Cleaning fluid had been poured into her mouth to hide DNA evidence before she was murdered and thrown in the garbage.

None of the suspects have been charged with a hate crime because there is apparently no evidence that the suspects engaged in name calling while they were allegedly raping and murdering the young couple. The major news outlets continue to ignore the story.

Charlie Daniels Speaks Out About Channon Christian Rape

Charlie Daniels, the famous musician and resident of Tennessee, has spoken out about the Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom rapes and murders on his web site. Charlie slams the racist media blackout and points out the hypocrisy of the Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson crowd. Go, Charlie!

Virginia Tech Allows Memorial for Shooter

A student organization at Virginia Tech created stone memorials for the 32 murder victims of Seung-Hui Cho, a South Korean immigrant who hated Christians. A 33rd stone for Cho was added by an unknown person and then removed. A 33rd stone has now been added again farther from the others and the student organization says they have no plans to remove it. Cho Seung-Hui, the South Korean immigrant who killed 32 people at Virginia Tech hated Christians according to the video he made.

Female Suspect in Channon Christian Rape/Murder in Court

Vanessa Coleman, the only female suspect in the rape and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, has received a preliminary hearing date of May 17th.

Background:

Virginia Tech Shooter was South Korean Immigrant

According to today’s press conference, the shooter who killed or wounded over 60 people at Virginia Tech has been identified as South Korean immigrant Cho Seung-Hui.

White Girl Beaten in Racist Attack

A White girl suffered a broken nose, black eyes, a bruised collarbone and other injuries after she says a Hispanic girl called her a cracker, pushed her to the ground and beat her in a school hallway as others watched. The accused attacker has disappeared, leading to speculation that she’s an illegal immigrant. Police have issued a summons for second degree assault.

While apparently no hate crime charges have been filed against the alleged attacker, the victim’s father says a summons for disorderly conduct was issued for his daughter.

Three Muslim teens were arrested for repeatedly raping a 13-year-old Belgian girl. After the arrests, they said they would not have raped her if she had been Muslim.

“White people are going to burn tonight”

A black man shot several people and poured kerosene over others in a NYC bar, telling them, “white people are going to burn tonight.”  He has been convicted of attempted murder and several hate crimes.
