Immigrant Accused of Attempted Car Bombing in Portland

According to federal authorities, Somali immigrant Mohamed Osman Mohamud attempted to detonate what he thought was a van filled with explosives at a Portland Christmas tree lighting ceremony.  The van contained a fake bomb provided by FBI employees in a sting operation.

Illegal Immigrant Accused of Shooting During Break

Suspected illegal immigrant Hector Canales-Robles took a break from his job at an outlet store, then allegedly robbed another store, shooting an employee in the process, and then returned to work.
