Murderer Released by Mitt Romney Judge, Accused of Killing Again

Mitt Romney, already known for his soft stance on illegal immigrant criminals, now may face broader criticism for being soft on crime in general. Daniel Tavares Jr. was in prison for murdering his own mother with a carving knife when he was released this year by a Mitt Romney appointed judge. Police say Tavares has already killed again.  Young newlyweds Brian and Beverly Mauck were found shot to death in their home last week. Tavares is charged with the murders.

Terapon Adhahn, an immigrant and convicted sex offender, has provided police with information that led to the discovery of 12-year-old Zina Linni’s dead body. Zina had been missing since July 4th when a family member heard her scream and saw a van drive away. After obtaining a search warrant, police found girl’s underwear at Adhahn’s home. He was convicted of incest in 1990.
